甘薯除富含淀粉、可溶性糖和矿物质外,还含有胡萝卜素、维生素C、叶酸等活性物质,能降血脂和胆固醇、抗氧化,可以预防衰老,具有良好的营养保健功能.随着甘薯营养和保健作用受到消费者的重视和认可,首都消费者对甘薯的需求也是逐年递增.目前京郊散户小规模种植仍是以人工作业为主,作业效率较低,对机械化生产意愿十分强烈.
