Abstract
Bioprinted Neural-Like Tissue In article 2200002, Maricato, Porcionatto, and co-workers use 3D bioprinting technology for the biofabrication of neural-like tissues composed of natural polymers and murine astrocytes and neurons. The mimetic neural tissue is infected with mouse-adapted SARS-CoV-2, showing permissiveness and specificity with the adapted virus, representing a proof-of-a-concept platform for modeling neuroinfection, contributing to the speed of antiviral drug screening.
