摘要
Abstract The objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and feasibility of the combined simultaneous percutaneous needle tunneling (PNT) coupled with injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for the treatment of Peyronie’s disease (PD). This prospective cohort study included patients who underwent this procedure from November 2020 to July 2022. The main outcome was an improvement in penile curvature that facilitated intercourse. Fifty-four patients enrolled and underwent 6 sessions of PNT/PRP followed by vacuum therapy for the treatment of PD in our outpatient department (OPD). The amendment of the curvature angle was significant with a median correction percentage of 44.4% (p = 0.001). None required any pain medication and pain disappeared within 24 hours in all patients. All patients reported less difficulty during sexual intercourse. In our experience PNT/PRP in the OPD is a safe, effective and feasible treatment of penile deformity for PD that facilitates sexual intercourse.
