Mechanism of Stretchable Mechanochromic Color-Tuning In article number 2202897, Su Seok Choi and co-workers reveal the color changing mechanism of electrically stretchable mechanochromic system. The hexagonally close-packed (HCP) nanostructure of organogels should experience lattice deformations during mechanochromic process. Using their in situ electro-optical observations and theoretical modeling, electrically stretchable and also stable mechanochromic lattice tuning mechanism is reported for the first time.
