Artykuł ma na celu uzupełnienie pracy Kamila Pawlickiego Niejednoznaczność terminów tematyczny i atematyczny w językoznawstwie indoeuropejskim (Pawlicki 2020, BPTJ LXXVI) o dalsze możliwe przyczyny powstania dwojakiego pojmowania terminu atematyczny oraz tematyczny w językoznawstwie indoeuropejskim, szczególnie w polskiej terminologii lingwistycznej. On the usage of the terms athematic and thematic in Indo-European linguistics Abstract The aim of the article is to supplement the argumentation presented by Kamil Pawlicki in his Nie jednoznaczność terminów tematyczny i atematyczny w językoznawstwie indoeuropejskim [The ambigu- ity of the terms thematic and athematic in Indo-European linguistics] (Pawlicki 2020, BPTJ LXXVI), with further possible reasons for the twofold interpretation of the terms athematic and thematic in Indo-European linguistics, especially in Polish linguistic terminology.
