A Parasitic Loaded Rectenna for Energy Harvesting Applications for the Internet of Things

摘要
In this paper a compact patch antenna suitable for Internet of Things applications at 5.8 GHz is presented. The antenna is printed on a commercial substrate and optimized for obtaining the maximum gain as well as the optimum input impedance for controlling a RF to DC module for energy harvesting applications.Simulation predicts a maximum gain of 7.00 dB at 5.8 GHz, with a return loss exceeding 33.0.
