N-doped Cu-MOFs for efficient electrochemical determination of dopamine and sulfanilamide.

•Nitrogen-doped Cu-MOFs (N-Cu-MOFs) are synthesized with PVP-assisted strategy.•N-Cu-MOFs possesses well-defined and uniformly dispersed ordered octahedral-shape.•Excellent electro-analytical activity toward the detection of micropollutants is achieved.•The constructed micropollutants sensors exhibit high selectivity, sensitivity and stability.
