Negative pressure wound therapy for venous leg ulcers

Although a combination of compression therapy and contemporary dressings remain to be the mainstream management option for venous ulcers, in selective cases, especially with large amounts of exudate, other approaches may be helpful. This chapter describes the rational, available evidence, and examples of using the negative pressure wound therapy for venous leg ulcers.
