Order-reduction model and analysis of EMS medium-and-low speed maglev train suspension system using Pade approximation method

摘要
The suspension system of EMS medium-and-low speed maglev train is a high-order nonlinear system, which brings great difficulties to system analysis and controller design. In this article, the suspension system is modeled and its closed-loop transfer function under feedback control is obtained firstly. Then, the Pade approximation method is creatively introduced to reduce the model order, and the similarity of the step response between the original transfer function and the order-reduction transfer function is compared by simulation. Finally, the order-reduction transfer function is analyzed, and the analysis result can provide assistance for the controller design.
