Abstract
Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and associated gonadotoxic treatments may impair fertility. The hereditary nature of SCD can have implications for reproductive decision-making and outcomes, though little is known about how these topics are discussed between patients and providers. Our objective was to examine fertility-related care and genetic counseling among adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with SCD.
