Sound Signal Detection Based on FMCW Milimeter Wave Radar

In this paper, FMCW millimeter wave radar sensor is used to detect the sound signal. The vibration of the surface of the sound source modulates the transmitted signal of the radar, which can recover the sound signal. Experiments have confirmed that the 77GHz millimeter wave radar can detect the tiny vibration of more than ten microns, avoid the mutual interference between multiple sound sources in a complex scene, and can independently obtain the signal of each sound source.
