Microstrip array antenna design for 5G millimeter-wave

摘要
An array antenna working in 5G millimeter-wave frequency band is designed. A 2x2 circularly polarized microstrip array antenna is composed of a feed network of circularly polarized and parallel equal phase difference by using side-fed microstrip patch antenna element and tangent design. The antenna has the characteristics of high gain, easy integration and low profile.Experimental results show that the antenna array has a bandwidth of 1.5GHz(24.9-26.5GHz) and a maximum gain of 17dBi.The antenna is compact and easy to manufacture, and can be used in the field of 5G technology.
