Abstract
Solid solutions of nickel-zinc ferrites, $\mathbf{Ni_{1-x}Zn_{x}Fe_{2}O_{4}}$ , were synthesized by stepwise precipitation from aqueous solutions of metals nitrates. Single-phased crystalline spinel ferrites are obtained after the heat treatment at $800^{\circ}\mathrm{C}$ for 2 hours. It was found that the increase in zinc content leads to an increase in the size of nanoparticles. Le Bail method was used to determine lattice parameters of ferrite particles, it was found, that crystal lattice parameters increase with Zn content. Magnetization in the $\mathbf{Ni_{1-x}Zn_{x}Fe_{2}O_{4}}$ system passes through the maximum at $x=0.45$ . The reason for the nonmonotonic behavior of magnetization is a change in the interrelation of superchangeable interactions in the magnetic structure of the material.
