Against Eavesdropping of Modern Body Sensor Networks Based on Surface Plasmonic Security Communication Clothing

A wearable security communication clothing with a directivity antenna and spoof surface plasmon (SSP) structure is presented to prevent the eavesdropper from intercepting signals. The proposed structure contains a high directivity wearable antenna connected by the Y-shape SSP waveguides. The signals of sensors on the back of human body can be coupled into the SSP structure and propagated to the front and radiated by the directive antenna. In this structure, it is fabricated by conductive fabrics so that could be attached to the clothing and worn on the body. The narrow 3-dB beamwidth of the radiation pattern is applied to prevent eavesdropping on private information of modern body sensor networks.
