Miniaturized Liquid Crystal Phase Shifter for Millimeter Wave Bands

摘要
In this paper, a millimeter-wave phase shifter based on nematic liquid crystal is designed. The phase shifter is composed of a three-layer substrate. The millimeter wave band is beneficial to reduce the size of the device and meet the needs of miniaturization. The size is only 13.5x28mm(2). The proposed phase shifter adopts an inverted microstrip line structure, and its phase shift degree is about 395 degrees at 37 GHz.
