The rapid increase of consumers’ demand for cold chain food makes the research of food cold chain become one of the hot spots in current supply chain research. However, due to the decentralized production of frozen food, the complexity of supply chain structure, the uncertainty of supply and demand and the particularity of technical requirements, the frozen food supply chain is easy to be attacked by various risks. In order to improve the operation efficiency of the frozen food supply chain, this paper analyzes its structure and identifies the internal risk factors of the supply chain which are supply risk, product processing risk, market risk, logistics risk and information risk. The index system of frozen food supply chain risk evaluation is constructed, then the index weight is determined by analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and the risk evaluation model is constructed by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE). Finally, this paper takes Wuhan frozen food supply chain as an example to conduct an example analysis. The research results show that there are great risks in the frozen food supply chain, and the focus should be on preventing logistics risks to reduce the possibility of “chain breaking”.
