The Zones of Influence of Surface Flow in the System of Urban Nature Management: Case Study of Moscow Territory

The formation of surface runoff in urban territory is considered taking into account the geoengineering conditions. It is shown that the surface runoff should be taken into account in the urban nature management system. An approach to identifying the zones of influence of the surface runoff and assessing their effect on the urban environment is implemented. The joint analysis of the zones of influence of surface flow and the Map of Engineering-Geological Zoning of Moscow Territory can be used to derive geoengineering characteristics of the zones of influence and to propose a method for assessing the vulnerability of the nature use objects. Detailed analysis of the effect of surface runoff on the elements of urban environment has been made for natural territories and urban cemeteries. It is proposed to take into account the zones of influence of surface runoff in the management of zones with special conditions of use in the Unified State Register of Real Estate.
