Abstract
Chrysoride A ( 1 ), a new natural product belonging to the family of drimane sesquiterpene esters, was isolated from a marine-derived fungus Penicillium chrysogenum LD-201810. Its structure was established by detailed interpretation of 1D ( 1 H and 13 C) NMR, 2D ( 1 H– 1 H COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and NOESY) NMR, and HR-ESI-MS data. Chrysoride A ( 1 ) exhibited moderate cytotoxicity against HepG2 and HeLa cancer cell lines with IC 50 values of 28.9 and 35.6 μM, respectively.
