摘要
Hereditary angioedema (HAE) is a rare, debilitating and potentially fatal genetic disease associated with recurrent and unpredictable episodes of angioedema attacks. Modern therapies have dramatically increased quality of life. HAE treatments, similar to other rare conditions, are expensive and insurance approval is often a protracted process. This study examines the impact of delays and denials on health and well-being.
