Abstract
Early life risk-factors are important to lung health across the lifespan. Increased airway resistance (R) as assessed by R5-R20 Hz using Impulse Oscillometry (IOS) is a non-invasive assessment of peripheral airway dysfunction. We hypothesized that early life exposures and risk factors in participants in the Childhood Origins of ASThma (COAST) birth-cohort study will influence R5-R20 across childhood and adolescence.
