Abstract

The influence of different nozzle structures of distributors on the shape and the flow state of liquid in the molten pool was studied by numerical simulationNumerical simulation. The results show that changes in the inclination of the nozzle of the distributor, the height of the nozzle, and the depth of the distributor into the molten pool will affect the flow of liquid in the molten pool. With the increase of the depth of the distributor into the molten pool, the shape of liquid surface in the molten pool changes obviously, and the turbulent kinetic energy of the liquid surface in the molten pool decreases. The reasonable structural parameters of the distributor nozzle were obtained through research.
