Abstract
In this paper, we propose a novel wide-beam transmission and narrow-beam reception mode in radio tomographic imaging (RTI) field. Specifically, we first introduce the ellipse model in the wide-beam transmission mode which approximately describes the propagation of the signal in the unknown scenario. Then, a joint iterative reconstruction method based on the initial value of average intensity is proposed. Finally, the numerical results validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed wide-beam transmission and narrow-beam reception mode and reconstruction method.
