Identification of genetic variants in 79 Argentinean patients with mucopolysaccharidosis type II, Hunter syndrome

A hygienic environment for the livestock is the most sensitive field of application of nanotechnology. Dictionary definition of hygiene includes “The degree to which people keep themselves and environment clean.” Nowadays, the maintenance of livestock health is of utter importance as there are many harmful diseases, which are increasing day by day. This can be done by maintaining a hygienic environment for the livestock. Livestock is one of the sources of emission of greenhouse gases especially methane and hydrogen sulfide. Almost 26% of the emission is from livestock manure management. This can be done by reducing the mechanism of methane and hydrogen sulfide by using nanomaterials such as zinc silica nanogel, copper silica nanogel, nanoacetyl cysteine coated with ZnO quantum dots, zinc oxide, and silver. Another aspect of maintaining hygienic environment is providing pollutant-free water for the livestock. There are plenty of nanomaterials and their composites available for maintaining the healthy environment for livestock and these are capable of disinfecting many diseases such as water-borne disease, food-borne disease, etc. Among them, gold nanomaterials, silver nanomaterials, titanium oxide, ferrous oxide nanomaterials, nanostructured polymers, carbon nanostructures such as graphene and carbon nanotube are the most promising candidates and contributing more for the maintaining a hygienic environment for the livestock and developing the new and upgraded treatment methodology nowadays.
