The Impact of Job Insecurity on Employees Job Performance Among Employees Working at Save the Children in Jordan

This study aims to investigate the impact of job insecurity on job performance among employees of Save the Children Jordan. The population of this study is 254 employees of which 153 employees are the recommended sample size for Save the Children Jordan. In total (254) questionnaires were distributed to the target sample, of which (248) questionnaires were retrieved. The final number of valid questionnaires for analysis was (160). This study used a quantitative, descriptive statistics and other tools to test the study model. SEM analysis using PLS considering that present study has a sample of a small size relatively, therefore, it's vital to validate the garnered results using such SEM type. The findings in the study illustrated that job insecurity is negatively related to job performance. Base on the study results; Save the Children management is advised to provide more attention to Job insecurity issue among its employees and to find suitable means and apply adequate interventions to cope with this phenomenon and its consequences that expected to last for relatively a long period of time.
