Types of nebulizers in plasma-based techniques: How to choose an appropriate nebulizer

This chapter presents an overview of the main nebulizers that can be applied with plasma-based techniques, bringing the main basic concepts of these devices, pointing up their main characteristics, and creating a solid base for the reader on how to select the proper nebulizer based on the sample characteristics. Moreover, a part of the applications and future perspectives introduces the main studies on the use of nebulizers and perhaps the perspective for the future improvements for nebulizers.
