摘要
Springback is an undesirable change in the shape of a material after the load is removed due to its elastic recovery characteristics. Generally, springback is affected by material properties such as elastic modulus and yield strength as well as the forming process parameters such as bend angle, blank thickness and applied loads. A computational approach, such as finite element analysis, can be performed to predict the springback behaviour of a part in forming processes such as V-bending. In this chapter, multiple combinations of aluminium and steel tailor-welded blanks are considered to evaluate the effect of puncher offset and punch stroke on the springback behaviour. It is observed that punch stroke has a substantial effect on the springback, while the puncher offset has minimal influence. In addition, the sheet thickness and elastic modulus are also found to affect the springback behaviour of material joints in V-bending processes.
