An eigenvalue-shift and matching-signal based FOE method for discrete spectrum modulated NFDM system

Abstract
We propose an improved frequency offset estimation (FOE) algorithm based on eigenvalue-shift and matching -signal (ESMS) for discrete spectrum modulated nonlinear frequency division multiplexing (NFDM) system, which can realize high estimation accuracy without the constraint of the Baud-rate. Meanwhile, its computational complexity is lower in contrast with nonlinear frequency domain (NFD) method. Therefore, the proposed method is more powerful for eigenvalue NFDM transmission systems with large FO variation.
