Abstract
Plasma-liquid interactions are becoming an increasingly significant topic in the field of plasma technology. The interaction of non-equilibrium plasma with a liquid state is used in many applications such as surface treatment, health care, water purification, decontamination of foods and agricultural applications. Recently, numerous studies have reported that plasma-activated water has the ability to improve plant germination and growth due to the reactive oxygen and nitrogen species produced in it. This paper presents the energy efficiency of generating hydrogen peroxide concentration in plasma activated water. A non-thermal T-shaped plasma spray system at atmospheric pressure in argon is used which is supplied with energy from two high voltage sources: an AC source and a DC pulse power supply. A digital diaphragm pump is used to inject water at different flow rates, keeping the argon flow rate constant.
