Abstract
This work updates the invertebrate type specimen catalog published in 2009 for the country. The catalog is increased by 2256 type specimens (from 465 spp.) for a total of 4145 type specimens (from 778 spp.) deposited in the QCAZI and MEPN Museum. The new material included in the catalog includes 307 holotypes, 1885 paratypes, and 64 allotypes. It provides original information from 3 phyla (Arthropoda, Nemata, and Platyhelminthes), 8 classes, 21 orders, 72 families, and 152 genera. This catalog includes a map showing the type localities of the country, a list of new 46 type specimens (from 34 spp.) from other countries deposited at both museums, and label information from each specimen.
