Performance Analysis of a Temperature Adaptive Anti-Condensation Device in Open-Plan Control Cabinets

•We designed an anti-condensation device to prevent condensation in open-plan control cabinets.•The anti-condensation device can automatically adjust the temperature through the temperature control unit.•Dual-redundant temperature control strategy was adopted to control the internal temperature in the open-plan control cabinet between 33 °C and 40 °C.•Finite-element analysis and experiments were carried out to compare with the analytic solutions.
