摘要
Abstract All ocean countries in the world attach great importance to research in the field of ocean observation. In the past 60 years, the United States and Japan have continued to promote the development of ocean seismic observation. In addition to 51 offshore island and reef stations, marine seismic observation stations in China are almost blank. As the first undersea earthquake station in China, the Wuyu Island submarine seismic station has recorded more than 100 earthquakes after a year of operation. It is found that the hydrophone signal recorded by Wuyu Island submarine seismic station OBS05 is very similar to the broadband velocity seismometer signal. We selected 10 typical events with a magnitude greater than three and the analysis shows that the hydrophone signal recorded by OBS05 is a strong correlation to the signal of the broadband velometer Z component. In view of the similarity of signals from different sensors, we first conducted correlation analysis in the time and frequency domain for the same ground-based velocity sensor and acceleration sensor on land and summarized the steps, methods, and influencing factors of correlation analysis. Finally, the waveform similarity among hydrophones, velocity, and acceleration sensors recorded by background noise and natural seismic data is comprehensively analyzed and further discussed when it is applied to a submarine seismic station.
