A Deep Learning-Based Detection Method for Pig Body Temperature Using Infrared Thermography

摘要
•Correlations were analyzed for the Region of Interest (ROIs) selection.•Pig forehead and ear root were identified as ROIs from six parts of body surface.•Images of visible and infrared thermal were matched for temperatures extraction.•An improved Yolov5s-BiFPN model was developed for automatic detection of ROIs.•The model was lightweight and highly accurate for implementation to edge devices.
