Study on the influence of aerodynamic configuration on vortex vibration of steel pipe

摘要
Abstract In this paper, for steel pipe members with a slenderness ratio of 120, spoilers with different numbers and spacings are arranged to test the vibration reduction effect. Wind tunnel test results show that 7 sets of spoilers with a size of 1D×0.5D can basically suppress the vibration of the steel pipe member. When the spoiler spacing is 1D~4D, the reduction of the maximum amplitude is more than 90%.
