Practical aspects regarding the correlation between the occlusal vertical dimension and the facial aspect of edentulous patients

An important stage in the workflow of obtaining com­plete dentures for edentulous patients is represented by determining and registering the occlusal vertical di­men­sion (OVD). The dentist has an important role in this cli­ni­cal stage, and all the data that will be transmitted to dental laboratory must be correctly applied by the den­tal technician. The data are related to occlusal ver­ti­cal dimension, smile line, midline and canine line.
