Trends In Osteoarthritis Prevalence By Demographic, Socioeconomic, And Metabolic Factors In The United States, 1999-2018

Purpose: Disparities of trends in the prevalence of osteoarthritis (OA) over the past 20 years among adults in the United States (US) according to demographic, socioeconomic and metabolic status have not been well described. This study was aimed to characterize 20-year trends of OA prevalence in US adults and estimate differences in prevalence by major demographic, socioeconomic, and metabolic groups.
