摘要

•An ORC-WHR system is used to adjust TWC temperature and alleviate its thermal aging.•TWC lifespan is obviously extended without sacrificing conversion efficiency.•ORC-WHR also increases engine output though main benefit is longer TWC lifespan.•Better ORC-WHR performance is projected when coupled with advanced TWC technologies.
