Research on the Impact of AC Access to Weak-link Main Grid of Large-scale All-PV Power Base

Abstract
Photovoltaic (PV) has attracted more and more attention from the power system recently because of its advantages of clean and efficient, low cost and small geographical limit. However, the access of large-scale and high-capacity PV power stations has a huge impact on the safe and stable operation of the regional power system. In view of this, this paper studies the effects of grid connection of the all-Pv power base on the regional weak-link main grid under the alternating current (AC) access mode. Firstly, the power grid indexes based on power quality, safety and stability are studied, and then the relevant conditions of the all-Pv power base and regional power grid studied are introduced, and the AC grid-connected simulation model of the all-PV base is established based on MATLAB/Simulink. Finally, the simulation results are investigated from the aspects of voltage, harmonics, short-circuit current and stability to verify that the AC access area weak link main grid of the all-PV power base meets the relevant standards. At the same time, comparing and analyzing the grid connection indexes and economy with DC access mode.
