Research on Wing Deformation Based on Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor

This paper presents a design method for optimizing the layout of strain sensors using finite element analysis. The accuracy of the reconstructed deformation is improved under the condition that the number and layout of sensors are limited. After the simulation experiments, we get the optimized sensor layout scheme. In the experiment, the fiber bragg grating (FBG) sensor is used to measure the wing strain, and the measured data is combined with the Ko displacement theory to obtain the reconstructed deformation. The experiment achieved good results, which proved the feasibility of using the FBG sensor for reconstructed deformation and the validity of Ko displacement theory.
