Abstract
In this study, two lignicolous freshwater fungi were collected and isolated from submerged decaying wood in Manfeilong reservoir in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China. Based on the morphological characters and phylogenetic analyses of combined LSU, SSU, ITS and rpb2 sequence dataset, one is identified as a new species in Phaeoisaria, namely P. ellipsoidea, and the other is identified as Sterigmatobotrys rudis. Descriptions and illustrations of the two species are provided.
