Fabrication of trastuzumab conjugated curcumin nanoparticles based impedimetric cytosensor for the cancer cell detection

•Trastuzumab conjugated curcumin nanoparticle (Anti-Cur NPs) was synthesized for the first time.•Anti-Cur NP/SPE as the cytosensing interface of a novel impedance cytosensor.•Anti-Cur NPs based impedimetric cytosensor was offered for targeted cancer cell analysis.•The fabricated cytosensor had sensitive and rapid quantification of the low amount of BT-474.•Quantification of cells was monitored by EIS transduction of the Rct in the presence of redox pair.
