Abstract
Single-doped manganese with two luminous centers of MgGa2O4 fluorescent powder was generated through a solid-state reaction. It goes into great detail about the optical characteristics and temperature sensitivity of MgGa2O4:Mn2+, Mn4+. The emission spectrum activated by 322 nm UV light showed a sharp green peak for Mn2+ at 502 nm and a red peak for Mn4+ at 694 nm. Additionally, Mn4+ emission reduces as temperature rises, but Mn2+ emission increases initially before declining, demonstrating that Mn2+ and Mn4+ have differing temperature sensitivity in the MgGa2O4 host. The performance of temperature sensor capability at 80-500 K was investigated by the fluorescence intensity ratio (FIR) technology. The sample's maximal relative sensitivity (Sr) value is calculated as 1.64% K-1 at 260 K, indicating that MgGa2O4:Mn2+, Mn4+ have considerable potential for optical thermometry.
