Arthroscopic repair of traumatic rotator cuff tear following total shoulder arthroplasty: A case report and review of literature

Key Clinical MessageWe highlight the rare case of arthroscopic repair of a traumatic tear following total shoulder arthroplasty. Moreover, there is no reported literature describing the arthroscopic repair of a rotator cuff tear after total shoulder arthroplasty. This case report highlights an arthroscopic rotator cuff repair involving full-thickness tears of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus after a total shoulder arthroplasty performed 7 years prior. To our best knowledge, no published literature exists highlighting the arthroscopic repair of a traumatic rotator cuff tear following total shoulder arthroplasty.
