摘要
•The Newton cooling coefficient has been formulated with a polynomial dependence along the depth/length direction of a solid slab, a novel approach to heat transfer and thermal-wave boundary-value problems with third-kind boundary conditions.•Heat loss images have been obtained by reconstructed from pixel strings.
