The Subclassification of Youth Clinical Group with Borderline Intellectual Functioning

본 연구의 목적은 지능과 고용서비스 요구도 지수를 활용하여 경계선 지능으로 의뢰된 임상집단의 하위분류를 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기 지역의 기관과 부모회를 통해 후기 청소년기의 경계선 지능 임상집단 31명을 모집하였다. 모집된 경계선 지능 집단에게 2021년 2월부터 3월까지 표준화된 지능검사인 BLCT와 한국장애인고용공단의 장애인 고용서비스 다양성 검사를 실시하였다. 동시에 검사 참여자의 학부모를 대상으로 참여자의 발달 과정이나 특성에 대해 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였고, 이 결과를 하위분류 해석의 근거로 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 경계선 지능 임상집단의 하위분류는 지적장애 분류가능군, 경계선 지능: 사회․정서적 지원요구 집단, 경계선 지능: 전반적 지원요구 집단, 학습곤란, 학습장애 위험군, 경계선 지능 위험군의 6개로 분류되었다. 하위집단별 검사 결과와 인터뷰 보고에서 드러난 특징을 정리하였으며, 유형별 지원방안에 대해 논의하였다.The purpose of this study is to categorize the subclassification of clinical groups of borderline intellectual functioning(BIF) based on intelligence and employment service needs. To this end, 31 high school students and young adolescents commissioned as BIF in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province were tested for intelligence tests(BLCT) and employment service needs scale for people with disabilities from February to March 2021. In addition, interviews with parents were used as the basis for group characteristics understanding. As a result of the study, students and adolescents with BIF were classified into six sub-groups: intellectual disability classification group, BIF: social and emotional support needs group, BIF: overall support needs group, learning difficulty, learning disability risk group, and BIF risk group. The characteristics revealed in the test results and interview reports for each subgroup were summarized, and support plans were discussed.
