摘要
This work investigates the outage and throughput performance of a cooperative NOMA network using energy harvesting and full-duplex relay. The user near to the base station harvests energy using power splitting and time splitting, i.e. power-time splitting based energy harvesting model. The communication between base station and users is carried out in three phases. In the first phase, near user harvests energy using time-switching protocol, while the second phase of operation takes place under power splitting protocol with energy harvesting and information decoding at near user. In the third phase, the near user using the power harvested in the first and second phase, act as a relay to forward the decoded information to the far user. The analytical expressions for the outage probabilities of each user, system outage probability and system throughput are derived. The analytical expression is also validated via Monte Carlo simulations.
