Cover Feature: Mixed Metal‐Organic Frameworks as Efficient Semi‐Solid Electrolytes for Magnesium‐Ion Batteries (Batteries & Supercaps 10/2022)

The Cover Feature reveals the challenges magnesium-ion batteries face in reaching lithium-ion battery technology, including finding the appropriate electrolyte, improving divalent-ion diffusion, and finding the appropriate electrode materials. Mixed metal-organic frameworks were synthesized in one-pot and investigated as a possible semi-solid electrolyte enabling the reversible magnesium deposition/stripping process.
