Mesoporous magnetic nanoparticles conjugated aptamers for exosomes capture and detection of Alzheimer's disease

•The magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized by hydrothermal are composed of a core of Fe3O4 and coupled with gold nanoparticles gives it a large specific surface area to effectively capture exosomes.•We introduced the sodium chloride elution strategy using 1 M sodium chloride to eluate the captured exosomes, which provides a possibility for the downstream diagnosis of disease.•The differences in exosomes analysis of clinical samples between healthy people and patients with AD provide a convenient method for the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.
