The Scheme of Reactor Inter-turn Protection Based on Sequence Active Power
The Proceedings of the 17th Annual Conference of China Electrotechnical Society(2023)
摘要
The reactor does not consume active power during normal operation and when the iron core is saturated. When an inter-turn fault occurs in the reactor winding, a large short-circuit current flows through the faulty winding, and will cause serious heat generation and consume a large amount of active power. This feature can be used to construct the principle of inter-turn protection based on active power. At the same time, the inter-turn fault is mostly asymmetrical, and there are zero-sequence and negative-sequence components. The zero-sequence and negative-sequence active power will affect the determination of scheme, so using the sequence active power to construct the scheme of inter-turn protection, it can effectively identify the inter-turn fault and improve the reliability and sensitivity of the inter-turn protection. At the same time, the engineering data is analyzed to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the scheme.
