Abstract
The current work involves the analysis of the fibre-polymer adhesion characteristics in green composites aiming to improve the compatibility between the natural fibres and the polymer resin. Adhesion properties depend on the type and material properties both of the fibre and the resin. In order to have a better understanding of how to improve fibre/resin adhesion, it is important to explore the chemical interaction between the two. The document considers several aspects related to chemical bonding and physical attraction forces.
