Abstract
A micro-nano structure coating containing silsesquioxane was synthesized through suspension polymerization with the addition of ladder-like polysilsesquioxane, in which the nano-particles were nano-titanium dioxide. The light transmittance was increased after coating the surface of the polyethylene terephthalate film, which could reach 94.3%. The numerous hydrophilic groups on the surface of the micro-nano structure gave the coatings a hydrophilic effect, making the contact angle of the film less than 20° and the antifog ability was improved. The SEM images show that the size of the micro-nano structure was about 1 μm, which was conducive to the formation of nano-scale pores and the pores were the reason for the increase in light transmittance. In addition, due to the strong thermal stability of the ladder-like polysilsesquioxane, the second stage of decomposition of the product began at 400°C, which was much higher than that of pure acrylate polymer and made it more resistant to heat.
